Allegheny and Chesapeake Physical Therapy's (ACPT) primary goal is to offer our patients an extraordinary healthcare experience everytime. To achieve that goal, our policy is to schedule all of your sessions with the same doctor of physical therapy. However, there may be unavoidable circumstances when your primary therapist is unavailable to treat you, due to illness or vacation.

In order to provide seamless continuity of care, ACPT employs four full-time doctors of physical therapy, who are experts in outpatient treatments and techniques. In addition, ACPT has selected several expert therapists who meet our high standards and provide coverage in our office on an 'as-needed basis'.

You can be assured that your regular treating therapist and your coverage therapist have taken the time to comunicate fully about your care. They both realize that your regular attendance is critical to your progress.

Coverage Staff

Dr. Ryan Hughes is the supervisor of ACPT's coverage staff. He achieved a Bachelor Degree in Rehabilitation Science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Hughes has been a coverage physical therapist with ACPT since 2008. He is an active member of Three Rivers Adaptive Sports (TRAS) since 2007, focusing on Snow Skiing and Water Skiing.

Dr. Ben Guliano is a full-time coverage physical therapist at ACP. Recently, he completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University. In 2001, he received his Bachelor Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Guliano is a certified athletic trainer and has a special interest in manual therapy.

Dr. Sung-ah Keppel serves as a regular staff therapist at ACPT's Wexford Office as well as a coverage therapist at our remaining offices. She received a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University. She maintains a professionnal membership in the orthopaedic section of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Dr. Allison Tallon is a full-time coverage physical therapist. Recently, she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wayne State University. In 2006, she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology at Michigan State University. She has provided therapy for children with special needs and was a gymnastic coach.
