What Is Pelvic Floor Dysfunction?

Pelvic floor dysfunction is a common condition, experienced in both men and women.  Some of the symptoms include, urinary or fecal incontinence, constipation, pelvic pain, or back pain.

A specialized physical therapist will effectively treat these conditions.  Pelvic floor dysfunction may be resolved with an individualized treatment plan which targets muscles and joints of the pelvis.

The Women's Health and Pelvic Floor specialist will perform an initial evaluation, including an internal examination, which will assess the strength, control, and additional qualities of your pelvic floor and surrounding muscles and joints.
