swimmer_webWhat is Aquatic Therapy?

Aquatic therapy is a rehabilitation method useful for an array of different injuries or conditions. It uses the gentle environment of water, one that’s especially helpful when you cannot yet tolerate land-based exercises.

The aquatic properties of buoyancy, resistance, and hydrostatic pressure work together with skilled exercise instruction to reduce pain, strengthen muscles, and increase joint flexibility, cardiovascular fitness and ambulation skills.
