What is Massage?
Massage is the practice of soft tissue manipulation with physical, functional, and in some cases psychological purposes and goals. Massage in ACPT offices, is completed by manually applying pressure to tissue using a balance of tension and motion. Target tissues may include, tendons, muscles, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue. Massage is applied with hands, fingers, elbows, and forearms.
